Upgrade to an antiquated underfloor heating system and boiler in a 12 bedroom Surrey mansion.

Vear upgraded the system, together with the radiator and hot water system in a separate flat.
This design and build contract required close co-operation with the client and project managers and drew on Vear M&E’s experience to deliver a bespoke proposal to meet the following specific requirements.

Replace the underfloor heating manifolds for ‘state of the art’ equivalent. Design and manufacture bespoke fittings for connection to the existing underfloor heating coils. Installation of wall mounted LCD fingertip temperature controllers and a centralised boiler rig, complying with the latest strict L2 building regulations (SEDBUK A Compliant). Also new fully modulating circulating pumps and zone valves with a full Trend Energy Management and plant controller, allowing complete control of underfloor heating, radiator heating and hot water. The client can also control all the plant, room temperatures and hot water temperatures remotely via lap top.
